Our Story
Aviation Auditors was founded in 2010 by Dennis Hill with a vision to offer completely independent aviation auditing services, both within Australia and internationally. Dennis brings over 30 years of aviation experience as a highly trained aviation executive. Since our founding, we’ve helped hundreds of organisations improve their systems and processes through our proven audit methodology — and our clients consistently tell us it’s the best audit they’ve ever had.

What We Offer
Aviation Auditors provides independent auditing, investigation, and compliance services across the aviation industry, including SMS and QMS.
Our experience spans multiple CASR Parts, including 21, 42, 61, 66, 91, 92, 99, 119, 133, 138, 139, 145, and 147, among others, as well as CAR 30 audits and manuals.
We also conduct Transport Security Plan (TSP) audits and Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP) audits, alongside accident and incident investigations, auditing and accident response training, and expert consulting on safety, risk, and change management.

Aircraft Accident Investigation
We investigate aviation accidents and incidents to determine what happened and, more importantly, why. With a Graduate Diploma in Accident Investigation and experience across more than 60 major and 2,000 minor investigations, we deliver detailed reports covering findings, contributing factors and practical recommendations. Every investigation is handled in strict confidence.
Our Founder
Dennis Hill is the founder of Aviation Auditors, established in 2010 to provide completely independent aviation auditing and accident investigation services across Australia and internationally.
With over 30 years in the aviation industry, Dennis holds a Commercial Pilot’s Licence, a Graduate Diploma in Accident Investigation, a Graduate Certificate in Aviation Safety and Risk Management, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. He is a Principal Auditor (QMS) and an Associate Member of the Regional Aircraft Association of Australia (RAAA), with memberships in the Australian Society of Air Safety Investigators (ASASI) and the International Society of Air Safety Investigators (ISASI).
Dennis has successfully conducted over 60 major and 2,000+ minor accident and incident investigations, and has held senior safety and quality roles across the industry — including with Toll Aviation, Byron Aviation, and many others. He maintains close working relationships with CASA, the ATSB, and industry bodies, ensuring clients benefit from current regulatory insight and efficient outcomes.
