One of our clients encountered a situation where their client was requesting that two crew were used on an aircraft that is flown legally with just one crew.

Our client asked for some help as they knew they could supply a safe service in the aircraft using single pilot operations. We suggested that a comprehensive risk management plan for single pilot operations would be a good starting point.

We presented the risk management plan to the end client, and they were very happy with the plan. They removed the requirement for two crew operations, and flights have continued safely for some time.
